The recently announced sequel just got interesting. That to me, is a film that nails exactly what its going for.
Cloverfield is easily my favorite found footage film along with one of the best invasion sci-fi films of the last decade or so. This film has very good thrills and suspense, believable characters, and this feeling like "how the hell did they do that?".
