Hi all, just got the MCC on Steam and was hoping to sit the wife down for some good old multiplayer when, low and behold 343 has decided Halo has no need for split screen in 2020.
Well the animation is there, but nothing happens and that's why I can't join the invitation :/The fact that we need to resort to third-party apps for splitscreen HALO kinda disappoints me. I did some searching and found the posts from a few months back on the rather convoluted split screen work around here: I'm only needing to get two players (one mouse/keyboard and the other with a gamepad) so those are the real factors for me.Splitscreen is part of the long term roadmap, but it probably won't be coming until after the release the whole collection / Halo 4.There is a method atm involving nucleuscoop that I believe requires two Xbox Live accounts to work, and may be releasing soon.Ah cheers, I will look into that. I downloaded the script, I added what I assume is the correct exe to the game (Halo The Master Chief Collection\MCC\Binaries\Win64\MCC-Win64-Shipping.exe), selected the controllers and what windows to use, and then click play in the top right corner. I made another account and everything, but I can't get Nucleus to do jack. Halo would be perfect to do a co-op campaign on. I tried messaging one of the mods but they never got back to me.
