Realizing that the line that is holding Juliet up is about to be severed, Gus grabs the blade and holds it back long enough for Lassiter to jam the gears with his gun. Also, Yang being a victim of her dad is actually a nice plot twist, and explains her fixation with Shawn, wanting to have what she perceived as a “picket fence” family in the Spencers. Juliet manages to defeat her and the SWAT team arrives. A woman tells the police she was kidnapped by Yin.
Mr. Yang (also known by her actual name, Ms. Rotmensen) is a serial killer who made her first appearance in "An Evening with Mr. Yang". They all arrive back at Henry's, who has been trying to figure out where the picture was taken and even called Madeleine for help. He tells her he was always there for her and pulls her into the fatherly embrace she always wanted. Yin ties them up and starts filling the syringe he's going to kill them with when Yang shows up and calls him Daddy.
I think with every passing season of Psych I get abusive messages from fans because, as much as I love the show, I do always make the comment that the weaker episodes suggest that cracks are showing and that I worry that they will get larger.
